Augusta Pain Center’s new location in Aiken is exciting for both the doctors, nurses and employees, but especially for the Aiken community. Augusta Pain Center’s new Aiken location will allow Aiken residents access to Augusta Pain Center’s unmatched interventional pain management in the Aiken community.
However, Augusta Pain Center isn’t always business! The doctors, nurses and staff at Augusta Pain Center love to find summer activities to do once off the clock! But, the COVID-19 pandemic happening throughout the world has left families and individuals wondering, “What is left for us to do this summer?” Luckily, Augusta Pain Center has compiled this list of various different summer activities and events happening around the Aiken area that are giving families and friends something to do and look forward to as we push through the month of July.
The Aiken County Farmers Market
The Aiken County Farmers Market is not only a summer event, but is open year-round on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon. The Aiken County Farmers Market allows visitors to enjoy fresh, local produce, baked goods and crafts. This little farmer’s market in Aiken County gives you a fresh venue to visit for gathering the ingredients for a tasty summer dessert or meal!
Amp the Alley
Amp the Alley is a free concert series in The Alley that will be happening every Thursday night in July. This free concert at The Alley on Bee Lane in Aiken, South Carolina is an awesome destination for local music under the summer stars for anyone to do and enjoy. There could be changes due to COVID-19, so be sure to check Facebook for updates.

Stable View’s USEF/USDF “Only in America” Dressage
Stable View Farm’s USEF/USDF Recognized Dressage Show in Aiken, South Carolina is a two-day Official Qualifying Competition for the 2020 GAIG/USDF Regional Championships. Historic Trolley Tour
The Historic Trolley Tour through Aiken, South Carolina will expose you to the city of Aiken while also giving you something historically educating to do with anyone. On this trolley tour you will see and hear about:
- Historic homes and churches
- Equestrian sites
- The Civil War’s Battle of Aiken
- The Live Oak Canopy on South Boundary
- A guided walk through Hopelands Gardens, the Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame & Museum

Roads n’ Rails
The first Saturday of this month on July 11, live music will be performed by Roads n’ Rails at the Aiken Visitors Center and Train Museum. Hear railroad songs and country music live from Roads n’ Rails on July 11 at The Visitors Center in Aiken, South Carolina.
Aiken Music Fest Presents Hustle Souls (Soul/Rock)
The third Aiken Music Fest of the year will take place on Saturday, July 11 at the Highlands Event Center. This event features top local talent followed by a headliner band that is currently touring the Southeast. The Aiken Music Fest features refreshments, crafts, shopping and even kid activities to do earlier before the event starts. The cost per person is $10 dollars and you can find more information here.
Yappy Hour
The SPCA’s most popular event of the year is back and happening in July in Aiken! On July 15, at 6 p.m. you can join the SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare on the patio for drinks, food, music, games, a “lucky dog” raffle and free dog park admission, with access to the dog park pool. Friendly pups are welcome to join and attend!
Stable View’s July Eventing Academy Schooling & Show
Stable View Eventing Academy – Schooling on Saturday and Competition on Sunday. This event from Stable View is free for spectators! The times for this July event are Saturday, Schooling 9:00 – 3:00 & Sunday competition begins Sunday morning.
Cats on the Mat
The SPCA Albrecht Center will offer a cat yoga class on July 18 at 11 a.m. In this class you will be joined by adorable, adoptable kitties as you do yoga! Join the SPCA Albrecht Center on the yoga mats, take some deep breaths and play with some kittens during the SPCA’s Cats on the Mat event! Space is limited so claim your spot for just $10 dollars or $15 day of. No experience necessary, but the SPCA asks you to please bring your own mats, they’ll provide the cats.
Dressage at Aiken Horse Park
The Aiken Horse Park Foundations dressage show is a USEF/USDF level 3 event that will take place on July 22 and 23rd. For more information regarding the annual Dressage at Aiken Park click here.
Stable View’s July Schooling Hunter/Jumper Show

The Mountain Dulcimers of Aiken
Every fourth Saturday at The Aiken Visitors Center and Train Museum you can catch a live music show by The Mountain Dulcimers of Aiken. Don’t miss this one on July 25 at 11 a.m.
